Head Teacher's Welcome
At Whitecote our pupils know that success comes with hard work and perseverance. Through teaching that goes beyond the curriculum they are able to fulfil their potential and achieve. Once a Whitecote pupil you are always a part of the Whitecote family.
Inspire, Nurture, Challenge
Welcome to Whitecote Primary School
Regardless of the amount of changes that are taking place in teaching today, there remains one constant – the education of our children. It is this core principle that should be at the heart of every decision and action made by schools. Here at Whitecote, we recognise the importance that educating the whole child plays: to prepare our children for an ever-changing world, to give them the tools to learn new skills that will enable them to be valuable global citizens, to develop them morally and spiritually and to equip them with the skills needed to live harmoniously with people from a variety of cultures.
Our vision is a school where everyone is an active learner, switched on and enthusiastic about their learning journey through a curriculum, and environment, that is designed to inspire curiosity, awe and wonder. A place where children develop a passion for learning and everyone is committed to working together to give children the academic and life skills they will need to be successful.
We have a dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our relationships with parents, the local community and the other schools in the local area. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child's education and value your interest and support.
I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities that you need. It will grow over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us.
