School Council

2021 - 2022 Student Council Members

During the first half term, each class discussed what democracy is and what happens at an election. Then they held an election to choose their Student Council representative for this school year.

These children are the representatives for their class:

1 Lavender - Alexander

1 Rose - Scarlett

2 Hazel - Laila

2 Willow - Miley-Rose

3 Spruce - Leo

3 Yew - Fyn

4 Beech - Mark

4 Ash - Michael

5 Chestnut - Bella and John

5 Elm - Millie-Dee and George

6 Oak - Zac and Corina

6 Cedar - Archie and Imani

Their first task as Student Council representative was to collect ideas for how we could raise money for Children in Need this year and they identified lots of fabulous ideas with their classes. Everyone in school was asked to have a 'wacky' hair style for Children in Need on Friday as part of a non-uniform day to raise money.  During the fundraising day, children found out about the charity and how they spend the money that is raised.

Children in Need 2021

On Friday 13th November it looked very different at Whitecote Primary School as the children had created lots of amazing designs for their t'shirts, which made judging the t'shirt competition very difficult. The three winning designs represent how much time and effort that all of the children had put into designing their t'shirts.

Foundation Stage Winner (Little Doves, Nursery and Reception) - Charlie in Reception

Years 1, 2 and 3 - winner was Mary-Anne from year 1 in Rose class

Years 4, 5 and 6 - winner was Milo in 5 Chestnut
